This weekend in West Palm Beach we celebrated SUNFEST. I’ve never been to Sunfest prior to 2013. But, a lot of my friends talked about it. So when a friend of mine said her mother had a few tickets I jumped on the opportunity to go. I actually didn’t know who would be performing. She later contacted me to tell me that Kendrick Lamarr and Mac Miller would be there along with a few rock performers.

Once we got there the place was a zoo. People of all ages were partying, dancing, and just watching their faves perform. It was Cinco de Mayo so you know the place was turnt up. There were about three different stages. Captian Morgan sponsored the shit out of that event. And you know I love me some dark liquors.

Anyway shout out to Ash, Sara, and McFly for driving up to West Palm with me! Oh yeah, we found the best Chicken and Waffle spot in West Palm. If you’re ever in WPB check out Bay Bays. Great food and service.

40oz Van + Rap Radar Interview

@40oz_Van did an interview with Rap Radar to talk about his movements/business model when he started his Lifestyle Brand. He stated that he “already had style and to not get that twisted.” He also let us know like a lot of great entrepreneurs have let us know, that he tried the whole school thing but after him joining he knew that college was for some people, but it was just not for him. 40 also talked about his first job as a busser and working his way up to a server. After that job through a friend of his and through her recommendation he worked in retail. After long hours and only making $13/hour he new he needed a change. He also let us know how important it is for him to not be anti-social and how he likes working as a team.

Now 40oz Van has flooded the streets with his different array of snapbacks like my two favorites: RICH & LA. They go for $40 a cap. And, if you’re lucky enough to catch him at an event promoting the snaps, you may be able to get one before the release like I did with the RICH snapback. I was able to attend an event in Miami Beach at ATC where I was able to drink free Hennessy and miggle with other celebs like Vintage Frames, Trinidad James, Pusha T and many others from Miami that wanted to cop a RICH hat before the release.

(Bear vs Monkey) Bike Race Turns Fatal

Being up and bored at night searching the web can help you stumble across the weirdest things. I was searching the web when I stumbled across a video of two monkeys that were participating in a bike race against a bear in Asia. While the monkeys were winning the bear started to gain on them. One of the monkeys peddled his bike away from the on-coming bear. (As if saying. ~~Fuck this shit. Theres a bear coming.~~ Im out of here ) The monkey in the lead just raced on and probably never noticed the bear coming in that fast. Plus his fellow monkey friend never warned him. What happened next in front of the crowd was unbelievable. The bear trampled over the monkey in an accidental crash. When the two crashed into each other the bear started to attack the monkey violently in front of the audience. Check out the video if you dare.

So it will be okay to text while in your car as long as you are stopped at a light or if you pull over your vehicle. Florida is one of the last states to sign the bill enforcing no texting while driving. The first time that police pull you over the ticket will be $30. The second time will be $60.

Huge Accident Closes 79th Street Causeway, Miami.

Just about an hour or so ago there was a huge accident involving a Uhaul truck and a white four door vehicle on the 79th Street Causeway in North Miami Beach / North Bay Village.

The impact was so hard and loud that the sound was heard in my living room. My living room being on the other side of the building that the accident happened on. News helicopters were hovering around trying to see what had happened.

Cars that were coming from Collins ave and 71st going West, were asked to go back towards Collins and head either towards 41st or 125th street if they needed to go to Biscayne.

Here in North Bay Village or anywhere in Miami, we live on an island. If anything were to happen to either bridges in NBV we residents would be trapped. I wonder if the city has any plans for evacuation if something like this was to occur.
